I didn't want to make my family's life too difficult so I bought them a 2br 1ba house and furnished it for them before they moved in. One bedroom was supposed to be for Anna (the larger one with a double bed) and the other was supposed to be a shared bedroom for the twins.
The first day was spent mostly with the twins talking with their mother. I guess this is good, but they kept it up for a couple hours! Eventually some neighbors came over to welcome them to the neighborhood and the family slowly began to talk with their neighbors instead of each other. Things were going good.
Chris, one of the twins, who is a bit childlike, quickly became friends with one of the girls and they proceeded to play tag for hours upon end. I actually thought they would end up playing all night but soon they came inside to find Anna, Graham, and the other two neighbors watching TV.
The night continued with talking, laughing, bathroom breaks, and eventually sleep. Graham and Chris had school in the morning, but Anna had nothing planned for the next day as she has not found a job since moving to the new neighborhood. How they slept through the neighbors talking on their front porch, I don't know, but somehow the boys were up and ready for their first day of school on time and Anna crawled out of bed around 11am, making her way to the computer to play games.
